YNES describes writing lyrics as a form of therapy, making music to process things that piss her off. In 'The Daily Male' she confronts toxic masculinity - particularly in English football culture. YNES has already made a name for herself by supporting acts like GIRLI and Benefits and playing major festivals such as Isle of Wight and Glastonbury, where she shared the stage with Billy Bragg.
